Minnie Mouse Cake and a {Giveaway}

Ava's Minnie Mouse CakeTo celebrate Ava’s first birthday, her parents decided to throw her a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party.  All the ideas including this cake design were found by Ava’s mom on Pinterest.  When I arrived at the party to deliver the cake, it matched the decor so well!  What a cute party for such a cute one year old!  Happy birthday Ava!

  1. Chocolate, a real dark chocolate is my favorite with any flavor icing. If the ingredients used are better quality, a simple cupcake can be awesome!

  2. I love this cake! It is hard to pick just one favorite cupcake but if pressed I think I would have to say lemon poppyseed filled with lemon curd and topped with cream cheese frosting.

  3. hmmm those fun stuff party cakes and cupcakes books do look tempting – as do all your cakes! you really *inspire* me with your fabulous designs.

  4. My niece (also named Ava) is obsessed with Minnie Mouse and her birthday is coming up. This would be absolutely perfect for her, I can’t wait for my sister to see it! Beautiful cake and incredible job (as always!).

    As for my favorite cupcake flavor… I love vanilla cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting (and sprinkles of course!). Thanks for hosting such a great contest!

  5. Its a tie between Red Velvet Cupcake with cream cheese frosting and Vanilla Cupcake with Vanilla Cream Frosting. (all made by Lil Miss Cakes of course!) Yummmmm..

  6. As a fellow baker, i love seeing your work! I’ve never seen a display like the cupcake ferris wheel, and if I dont actually win it, I would LOVE to know where you got it from!
    I love the challenge that comes with customizing a cake specifically for a client and giving their little one (or sometimes a fun loving adult) an awesome cake to celbrate their specal occasion. I dont think I could live without carrot cake!
