Wedding Cake Cookies

Wedding Cake CookieI’ve become pretty obsessed with icing cookies lately.  I recently ordered this cookie cutter and stencil and love love love the results!  The cookies are iced with royal icing and decorated in black to create a super chic cookie.  The cookie stencil is a little simple so I dressed it up with mini black fondant flowers.

Black and White Wedding Cake CookiesI can’t wait to make these cookies again.  They can be made in so many different colors.

Wedding Cake CookiesThe black fondant flowers give these flat cookies great dimension and really bring them to life.  The flowers are so cute and tiny, I can’t take it!  These make great party favors. They can be individually wrapped in clear baggies and tied with a ribbon to match your cookies. Order these for your next celebration!

  1. i just discovered your blog and am really enjoying it! i love your creativity! i would love to give fondant cookies another try and was wondering how you make those mini fondant flowers?

    1. I have a very small flower cutter that I use to cut out thinly rolled fondant. Right after I cut out the flowers, I place the cookies on a foam flower mat and gently press the center with a ball tool. This will give it a cupped shape. Then I allow the flowers to dry before applying to the cookies. Good luck!

    1. Great question! I should include this in my post! I ordered the stencil and matching cookie cutter from designerstencils.com. They have great cookie and cake stencils!
