These heart shaped cookies are so pretty.  I probably have over 20 heart shaped cookie cutters but those are all the standard shape.  These are so elegant and whimsical, I just had to have this cutter!  And once I was buying the cookie cutter, I might as well buy some cookie stencils to go with it.  That’s how I got this elegant white design on each cookie.

Using white royal icing to apply the stencil design gives these cookies great texture.  I love using the stencil because each cookie comes out just as perfect as the one before and it’s so easy to do!
